Who we are
Affinity Collectibles is a numismatic dealer based in Ronkonkoma, New York, specializing in U.S. gold, silver, and platinum collectible coins. We’ve been working with collectors, inheritors, and investors since 2020 — quietly building a reputation for fair pricing, careful grading, and the kind of unhurried conversations that this hobby is supposed to be about.
We’re a real shop with a real counter. You can walk in, hand us a coin, and we’ll look at it with you. Most of our customers find us by referral, and most come back. That’s the business model.
Our experience
Affinity Collectibles was founded in 2020, but our people have been buying, selling, and grading U.S. coinage for more than two decades. We came up through the same hobby our customers are in — collecting, attending shows, learning the difference between a polished AU and a real Mint State coin the hard way. That experience is what you’re paying for when we appraise a collection or build one with you.
Our team is ANA-credentialed and we’re an authorized NGC dealer. Every appraisal and every offer goes through someone with the credentials and the years of hands-on grading to back it up.
Credentials & memberships
We take our credentials seriously — they’re how a collector knows we’re not making it up as we go.
- American Numismatic Association (ANA) — Our team holds active ANA membership. The ANA is the leading nonprofit educational organization for U.S. numismatics; membership means we operate under its code of ethics.
- NGC Authorized Dealer — Authorized to submit coins to Numismatic Guaranty Company for third-party grading and authentication, the most widely-recognized grading service in the U.S. alongside PCGS.
- PCGS — We buy, sell, and authenticate coins certified by Professional Coin Grading Service.
- CCE (Certified Coin Exchange) — Member of the dealer-to-dealer trading network, which is how we maintain real-time pricing on most U.S. issues.
If you have a coin with a grade we didn’t apply, we’ll tell you the same thing the slab tells you. If you’re selling, we’ll show you the wholesale and retail data points behind our offer.
What we do
We sell U.S. gold, silver, and platinum collectible coins — from common-date Morgans and Walking Liberties to certified key dates and pre-1933 U.S. gold. The shop and the online store are stocked from active dealer channels and from collections we’ve purchased directly.
We buy coin collections, bullion, and precious metals from individuals across the country. Sellers usually start at our sister site, SellMyCoinsNow.com, where we’ll give a no-obligation offer and arrange insured shipping.
We curate. Our Personal Curator service is for collectors building toward a specific goal — completing a set, putting together a presentation collection, or sourcing graded type coins. We act on your behalf, with your budget and condition standards, and we don’t mark up beyond what we’d quote on the wall.
